Paskals Day Nursery offers childcare for children from birth up to four years old. They have different age groups, including babies (up to 24 months), toddlers, and preschoolers (2-4 years).

The nursery aims to provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment, encouraging exploration and development through various activities such as movement, sound, colour, and touch. While their Laurel Terrace branch operates during term time only, the Farnley Road branch is open year-round.

Both locations offer care Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Funding options are available at both locations, subject to eligibility, for children aged 9 months to 4 years old, including free childcare for 2, 3, and 4-year-olds.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is good. Staff identify any children at risk of falling behind, work with other professionals and parents, and implement targeted interventions. Consequently, children make good progress from their starting points.

Outdoor space

Staff encourage children to be physically active in the indoor and outdoor spaces. They provide children with a variety of activities to help develop their larger muscles, such as climbing, balancing, and digging.

I went to ask about a place for my daughter starting in September, and I was told there were no spots available. I wasn't even given the option to put her on the waiting list. It's funny because last year I asked about the same thing, and within a single conversation, there was a spot, and the next moment, there were no spots. 🤣
