What parents say

Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection

Parents report that their children are happy and well supported with their care and emotional needs.

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The special educational needs coordinator (SENCO) has a secure knowledge of how best to support children, parents and staff. The SENCO has effective strategies to identify emerging gaps in learning, and seeks additional support from other professionals when necessary. This helps children make the progress they are capable of.

Outdoor space

The report notes that opportunities for children to develop a wide range of large movement skills are more limited, especially during colder months. However, staff ensure children have dance and yoga sessions to promote their good health.

This morning I had a visit from the children at Bright Eyes Day Nursery in Hulme. They came as a response to my recent food appeal made to Aylita. I was very overwhelmed by the children's efforts because they walked to the food depot carrying their food donations. We are the St, Vincent De-Paul charity based in Hulme next to the Enterprise building and we hand out several food bags each weeks. Right now we are struggling with the constant increase in food prices. The children of Bright Eyes Nursery really melted my heart with their generosity. Everyone at the SVP Charity Hulme wish to express our gratitude to Aylita for making this donation happen. If any other Nursery or school would like to donate please contact Bright Eyes Nursey and they will give you our contact details. Thank you so very much. Breda Collins member of St Vincent De Paul Hulme. Blessings to you all.

My daughter absolutely loves it here, she's become so confident and outgoing. Her relationship with her keyworkers are amazing she asks for Shakira and Kamryn consistently. The staff have been really amazing keeping me updated on her progress since day 1, they are attentive and provide or demonstrate a strong emotional support network. Even though my daughter is to start school in Sept we will be using the holiday club over half term. Thank you everyone at Bright eyes. 💜😁😊

Myself and most importantly my son absolutely love Bright Eyes. He has been attending for nearly 3 years now and since day one he has looked forward to going into nursery. I love how the staff are with the children, they are down to earth, open, loving and kind - they genuinely care about their children. The nursery have taught my son life skills as well as your standard abc’s, they teach them how to brush their teeth, manners, help massively with potty training and so much more and I think is so important to have these things being taught in nursery as well as at home. Oh, and how can I forget, the dinners are fantastic too. A great variety of properly cooked meals and healthy snacks. The progression my son has made since starting the nursery is amazing. Thank you Bright Eyes Nursery!

The staff here are totally amazing. My baby has had no problem adapting to being here fulltime. He started at 19 months and was probably the smallest child in attendance but thankfully the holiday club that is also provided here allowed for his 7yr old brother to be with him for the the first fortnight. The meals are plant based which is really helpful as my children have a mostly meat free diet. I was worried about how he would feel after spending all his time with mummy and then being apart for such a long portion of the day but he is thriving here and I couldn't be happier.
