Freshly prepared food, allergy management
Bright Horizons at RAF Northolt is part of a large network of nurseries across the UK, offering childcare and early education with decades of experience. The nursery focuses on supporting families with the daily work-life juggle, providing a nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Their unique "Nurture Approach" integrates learning and emotional well-being, ensuring each child feels safe, known, and loved. This approach emphasises the importance of a "Key Person" who builds trust with the child and parent during settling-in sessions.
The nursery offers comprehensive settling-in sessions that are non-chargeable and can begin up to six weeks before the official start date, allowing children and parents to gradually become familiar with the new surroundings and staff. These sessions are tailored to individual needs, recognising that every child settles at their own pace.
Bright Horizons also guides parents through various government childcare funding options, aiming to ease financial concerns. They prioritise fresh, healthy meals with attention to allergies and offer a rich curriculum covering five key learning areas, including outdoor adventures and support for special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Inclusion & environment
Staff promptly identify where children need extra help and provide excellent support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Leaders and staff are committed to enabling the best possible outcomes for all children. When children experience difficulties in communicating, staff offer timely interventions and engage with other professionals to provide additional support, consequently all children, including children with SEND, make excellent progress.
Children build strong bodies through daily exercise and outdoor play. They help to grow and harvest vegetables in the nursery garden, which helps them to discover and enjoy a wide variety of healthy foods.
I can not express enough how glad we sent our son to Bright Horizons. He has never once not wanted to go and talks constantly about what he has done that day. He has formed amazing relationships with the other children and the staff. All you want for your child is to be safe and cared for and that is exactly what you get at Bright Horizons. And of course, the cherry on the top of a happy child, is that he is constantly learning and developing. We couldn't be happier.
