Bright Horizons operates over 300 nurseries and preschools across the UK, offering a nurturing environment designed to support children's development and well-being. Their educational philosophy, "The Nurture Approach," integrates learning with emotional growth, ensuring each child feels safe, known, and loved.
The curriculum, "Bright Beginnings," focuses on five key learning areas to build essential life skills. The nursery emphasises outdoor play, including Forest School and Eco-Schools programmes, to enhance development.
They also prioritise healthy eating with freshly prepared meals and comprehensive allergy management. Bright Horizons supports families with advice on childcare funding options and offers non-chargeable settling-in sessions to ensure a smooth transition for children and parents, with a strong focus on building trust between children, parents, and their key person.

Inclusion & environment
Leaders and managers devise a curriculum that challenges all children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), to learn new skills. Staff liaise with other professionals to ensure that children with SEND receive the right care and support to help them progress well in all areas of learning.
The manager and the inspector carried out a joint observation of a planned activity in the garden. Staff encourage children to engage in plenty of physical play.
Our son has been at Bright Horizons Bromley since January 25. He settled in so well, thanks to the settling in sessions that started in November 24 but mainly because of how amazing all the staff have been with him. I have been so impressed with the nursery’s communication and it really sets your mind at ease knowing that you can log into the app anytime and see how your child is getting on with their naps, feeding and nappy changes. We especially love the updates on his progress which are uploaded regularly to our portal by his key person. Tegan has gone above and beyond to make our son feel safe and comfortable at nursery and we can’t believe how well he is developing there. Tegan has even changed parts of our home life as we have been able to transfer skills he is learning at nursery, such as feeding himself and self soothing, to make our home life easier. Stacey and Amanda also play a big role with our son’s development and he happily strolls into the nursery now to meet Stacey most mornings. All the team here are absolutely amazing and when we found out we were expecting our second we signed him up immediately! I am delighted to say that he will be joining his brother in March 26. This is a great nursery, worth every penny and the staff are so incredible.
Read on Googleour son is only 14 months and it was hard for us to feel comfortable leaving him with anyone but this nursery made us feel so welcomed from the start. The staff are extremely friendly with a morning hello and smile every time we come in. They are happy to chat and tell you all about your child's day. The activities they do are amazing and their app to update you with all news and your child's development is easy to use and amazing. The garden they have is so big and have such amazing equipment and toys in for your child to play in. It feels like joining a family rather than a nursery. Highly recommend.
Read on GoogleWe’re so thankful for the incredible care our 2 daughters receive at Bright Horizons in Bromley. The whole team is warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children’s wellbeing and development. We’ve seen so much positive growth in both girls, and always feel confident they’re in safe and caring hands. Thank you for creating such a nurturing and supportive environment. We couldn’t be happier!
Read on GoogleGlad that we chose Bright Horizons as they have taken great care of our Daughter and have a lovely team. The staff take great care of our little one and we feel she's in safe hands. She has made good progress over the nearly 9 months she has been there, all the team are great but special thanks to Tegan her key worker who has really helped her get settled.
Read on GoogleWe checked out quite a few nurseries in the area (some had spider webs to begin with!) and BH Bromley stood out by its professional and friendly team and how they look after the place that was renovated in recent years. It also comes with friendly hours that suit our busy day jobs. Nikki, Natasha and team have gone extra mile to accommodate our boy when we had to switch him to full time. They had his well-being at the centre of considerations. It was nice to see that staff (too many names to thank) from different rooms all work as one team supporting each other and they genuinely love spending time with children. Our boy finishes chef Nikki’s food every day! As parents we can get on with our day without worrying about our son. Everyone acts as the key person as they all knew how the day went for our boy when we picked him up. We just had a Mother’s Day tea. Being two daddies, it really felt no difference at all and that all parents are welcome and it was so lovely to chat to many.
