About this day nursery

Bright Horizons Cedar House Day Nursery and Preschool in Enfield is part of a larger network of over 300 nurseries across the UK, dedicated to providing exceptional childcare and early education. " This approach integrates learning with emotional well-being, aiming to equip each child with the foundations for a healthy, happy, and successful life.

They offer a "Bright Beginnings Curriculum" which focuses on five key learning areas, incorporating practical and life skills into daily activities. The nursery also places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, utilising outdoor spaces, Forest School principles, and participation in the Eco-Schools programme to enhance children's development.

Understanding the importance of this transitional period, Bright Horizons offers non-chargeable settling-in sessions for up to six weeks before a child's start date, allowing both children and parents to familiarise themselves with the nursery and its staff. The goal is to build strong attachments and create a smooth transition, customising the process to each child's individual needs.

Furthermore, the nursery provides guidance and support to families in navigating various government childcare funding options to help ease financial concerns.
