Inclusion & environment
Leaders and staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities superbly. They work closely with other professionals and parents to make sure all children are making progress and adapt their practice and routines to meet the children's needs.
The nursery recently introduced more physical play equipment in the baby room. Children now go outside to the garden in small groups to make the environment quieter and less overwhelming for some children.
Our 1.5 years experience at this nursery has been a wondeful and memorable experience. The teachers and staff are so lovely, caring, trustworthy and always so welcoming, I wasn't expecting the level of love and affection they would have towards all the children. It has been very easy to trust them to take care of my daughter daily. They provide such a fun, safe and nurturing environment that my daughter has thrived in, she's so happy there, and looks forward to going in. Thank you so much to Soraia, Kayleigh and Mina for doing an outstanding job of managing the nursery successfully, you've honestly made my life so much easier by putting my mind at ease. I would highly reccomend, best nursery in East London!
Read on GoogleWe sent our daughter to this nursey from 11 months. I thoroughly recomend this nursery, it is well equipped, organized and maintained. More importantly the staff were amazing, they had a wealth of experienece and showed genuine care and kindness to our daughter. We couldnt have asked for a better nursery to look after our daughter and ease the nerves of a couple of anxious parents.
Read on GoogleMy Nursery provides very good care and great learning experiences. Our daughter loves the pre-school and enjoys there everyday. The staff is professional and very caring. The food they provide is healthy and they have a good menu. They have periodical reviews which helps the parents understand what/how the child is learning. I would certainly recommend My Nursery (day-care as well as pre-school) to all parents.
Read on GoogleAs many first-time parents with no family in London, I was terrified to have to leave my 6-month old baby at nursery. Exclusively breastfed, I’d tried for several weeks to get her to take the bottle before starting nursery – but with no luck! Parent anxiety and exclusively breastfed babies who don’t take the bottle is not a new thing for the experienced, welcoming team at Bright Horizons in East India. Right at the outset, Maria and Jessica made me feel comforted and comfortable about leaving my daughter at the nursery. They explained to me that it is not the first time the team experiences this, and they treated me with such patience and kindness. Then, my daughter met Shahana from the Baby Room, with whom she immediately fell in love. They quickly bonded and my daughter always wanted to be in her arms! To help settle my daughter, Shahana was always patient, caring and sweet with her. My daughter sought out Shahana all the time to help her to sleep for her naps and also signalling hello to her (in her way) when she returned from her breaks. Not long after, Miss Naheda came back from holidays and met my daughter for the first time. It was true love there as well. I see how my daughter looks at her with so much adoration, and it is reciprocated. Miss Naheda, who has a lot of experience, was extremely helpful in helping me specifically with my “working parent guilt and anxiety”. She is extremely patient and reassuring whenever I call to check in on my daughter. I feel confident leaving my daughter in their care. The Baby room is filled with the sweetest, most caring team, which includes Naema and Fahmida, who both know exactly how to care for my cheeky daughter. She loves to be cuddled by them and, now that she walks, loves to walk towards them and asks to be picked up and cuddled by them. They all chipped in and helped my daughter learn how to use a sippy cup and soon enough, she was happily having her milk regularly. Lauren, who occasionally works in the baby room, was a huge support for me when my daughter was settling in. She has a daughter just about a year older than my daughter and was so kind in giving me advice and so patient when I was nervous in weaning my daughter. She is very knowledgeable and was also very reassuring. When my husband picked up my daughter and was having difficulty getting her shoes and coat on and Jessica, without even being asked, volunteered immediately to help him, going above and beyond. Overall, we have been treated with suck kindness by all the staff. We are excited to get to know the team in the Toddler Room where my daughter will be transferring in the next weeks. They seem very kind and helpful as well. It’s important to note as well that the food there is terrific. The chefs are excellent. My daughter is always excited for meal time. She tends to eat better there than at home and enjoys eating at the little table with all her friends. They do loads of activities like circle time, sand and water play, painting, singing, sensory play… they also always have fun special activities planned for events like Chinese New Year, Halloween, Christmas etc. The Manager, Katherine, is also very diligent and communicative. As parents, we are always kept informed of all the activities and changes at the nursery, if any. Most recently, my husband and I were really thrilled to hear that they got Guinea Pigs as we are animal lovers and are really pleased that the nursery supports showing children how to be around animals. She is great at emailing us frequently and keeps us in the loop. Jessica, who I previously mentioned, also prepares and sends out a fantastic newsletter that tells us all about the different activities going on. I just love it. Without a doubt, this nursery what the right fit for me, my husband and my daughter. Apologies for the super long review. I could go on forever. I just couldn’t be more pleased with the nursery.
