Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
parents explain how they are very thankful for the regular communication, which includes parents' evenings and an online app. They comment that staff make it clear how they can support their children's learning at home.
Inclusion & environment
Each key person has a good understanding of a child's interests, individual needs and stages of development. This means that staff plan learning opportunities that excite and motivate children, ensuring all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make good progress. The knowledgeable special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) works closely with parents and other professionals to agree targeted plans to support each child. Staff provide a highly inclusive environment where they value all children and understand their individual needs.
Children have daily access to outdoor spaces where they can move in different ways to strengthen their muscles and further develop their coordination skills. Children are encouraged to develop their awareness of their own abilities as they climb on the equipment and kick balls independently.
Brilliant nursery attentive staff who have the kids at the heart of everything they do. My kids love attending and have a special bond with the nursery staff. The management are always good at dealing with any issues and very passionate about their role. They are all amazing. Recently had an issue and it was dealt with by the managers very promptly, putting me at ease, and showing their true passion for my kid. If you want a nursery where your kids will be looked after and generally cared for this is the nursery for you. My fussy kid also loves the food provided by the cook who makes fresh meals daily.
Read on GoogleMy daughter has only been attending Bright Horizons Forest Park for around 5 months and she has come on massively. The activities provided are amazing. The staff are so professional and caring over her and it really shows. She is more than happy to leave me each morning when dropping her off. The staff take the time to learn about your child, likes and dislikes and are always happy to share what she has done through the day. The app provided also allows me to track what she has taken, how much and how well she has slept. Would recommend
Read on GoogleHighly recommended this nursery. My little boys started over 2 years ago. Just after his 2nd birthday. Struggled with interaction and speech. Within a few months he was beaming! It’s coming to the end of his time at the nursery before starting big boy school, and I’m a little bit upset that he will be leaving. The staff have been absolutely amazing! They are kind and caring, and passionate about their job. Any issues the management team are quick to assist, and absolutely Fantastic! My middle is due to start in September, and I cannot believe how supportive the management have been with helping with settles, as he was struggling with adapting. They generally listen to your concerns and make suggestions to how to help, and support. I honestly wouldn’t have my little ones go anywhere else and will also sign my little girl up in a few months when I’m ready to return to work. Couldn’t speak highly enough of this nursery, and their wonderful team.
Read on GoogleOur son has been at Forest Park for 3 years. We cannot recommend them highly enough. The staff are caring, compassionate and take a genuine interest in each child. They are attachment focused, building relationships in order understand each child so they can best support them to grow and develop. They continually communicate with us and followed our lead when it came to weaning, naps, toilet training etc. Our son loves going and has developed not only in his knowledge and skills, also socially and emotionally. We are sad he is leaving and know that forest park have prepared him for the challenges of big school. We are excited for our second to child to begin with forest park as we believe there is no better place.
Read on GoogleWe recommend 100% My son is finishing preschool this year and after almost 3 years since he started kindergarten, he has learned a lot, the patience and perseverance of the teachers is extraordinary. Whenever I needed it, I found understanding and support from the manager Nicole and the teachers Gayna, Ema, Clair👍, Rebecca (who takes care of the extraordinary children's menu) I have no words to thank enough for these wonderful years spent by my son with those from Bright Horizons Forest Park 🩷🔝professionalism, dedication, understanding.🩵
