Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) have good support from staff. They have individualised learning plans which help to close gaps in children's learning. Staff build strong links with external professionals involved in children's care.
Older children confidently change their clothes when they get wet playing outdoors. Young children enthusiastically take part in hunting for bears outdoors after hearing one of their favourite stories.
After moving my son from another nursery where he had become very anxious about attending, we decided to try Bright Horizons. From the very first visit, the team was incredibly welcoming, supportive and understanding. The environment immediately stood out to us - especially the beautiful outdoor garden and green space where the children can explore and play freely. During the settling period, the manager quickly noticed that we were struggling and suggested an approach that made a huge difference for my son. Within just a few days of following her advice, he went from being scared of nursery to happily walking in and enjoying his time there, which meant the world to us as parents. The staff are exceptionally caring, calm and attentive. It's clear they genuinely love and nurture the children, treating them with kindness and patience every day. Thanks to their support, we are also starting our second baby here and I feel so much more relaxed. Wonderful team!
