Bright Horizons operates over 300 nurseries and preschools across the UK, offering a nurturing and inspiring environment for children to thrive. Their core philosophy, "The Nurture Approach," integrates learning with emotional well-being, fostering a secure base for children to explore and develop.
The curriculum, "Bright Beginnings," focuses on five key learning areas, incorporating practical and life skills through engaging activities, including outdoor adventures and Forest School programmes. They prioritise healthy eating with freshly prepared meals and robust allergy management.
Recognising the significance of a smooth transition, Bright Horizons provides non-chargeable settling-in sessions for up to six weeks before a child’s start date, allowing families to build trust with their key person and become familiar with the nursery environment at their own pace. This emphasis on individual needs ensures every child receives a personalised and supportive start to their nursery journey.
Our ethos
Looking after your child is our first priority and to us, that's just the beginning. At Bright Horizons, children are supported at every moment by dedicated, skilled, and caring grown-ups, our nursery practitioners. The Nurture Approach™ is central to life at our Nurseries. It brings together learning and emotional wellbeing as part of the same amazing growing-up journey. This is more than childcare. This is childhood.

They say their children settle well and the new manager takes any concerns seriously and takes immediate and appropriate action.
Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive early support. The special educational needs coordinator supports staff to enable them to involve other professionals and plan effectively. This means that children have individualised plans for their care and learning needs.
I have two children which attend this nursery, my toddler is always coming home talking about all the art’s and crafts, toys and games he’s playing with. The staff are so polite and take safeguarding very seriously. The location is quite out of the way but the parking is great. Would thoroughly recommend to any parents looking for a nursery/childcare.
Read on GoogleMy son has recently started at this nursery in the baby room and we couldn't be happier. The staff are beyond excellent and I can't recommend them enough. They made the settling in process very easy as I believe they treat my son as if he is their own child. I'm always impressed with the meals served and the app they use to communicate with parents is fantastic. Thank you so much to such a caring and loving team, I'm so appreciative of you every day I drop my son off.
Read on GoogleOur daughter has attended Bright Horizons Hinchley Wood for the last few years and is now ready for Reception at school. The care provided is outstanding and they have really looked after her. She thoroughly enjoyed her time at nursery and was very sad to leave. She also made lots of friends during her time. A fantastic nursery setting.
Read on GoogleI have just visited this lovely nursery setting and had the most wonderful welcome from the staff. It was lunchtime and the rooms were almost silent as the children of all ages tucked into their roast chicken dinners. I popped into their focus room and saw the lovely activities that had taken place that morning. This nursery is well worth a visit.
