Bright Skies Nursery, established in 1994, is dedicated to offering exceptional childcare for children aged 0-5 years. The day nursery focuses on creating a happy, stimulating, and secure setting where each child can flourish.

With a seasoned and long-serving team, Bright Skies is committed to delivering a child-focused service. The day nursery adheres to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework, which guides their practices around four key principles: recognising each child as unique, fostering positive relationships through a key person system and strong parent partnerships, providing enabling environments that nurture children's interests and abilities, and promoting learning and development through engaging and challenging activities.

Each child is assigned a key person who tailors activities to their individual needs and maintains close communication with parents. The nursery ensures a smooth transition for children moving to different rooms by arranging visits and information sharing between key persons.

Bright Skies was rated 'Good' in its latest Ofsted inspection in January 2024, with inspectors commending the warm and respectful care, the highly stimulating learning environment both indoors and out, and the effective teamwork among staff.

What it's like

Children are cared for with warmth, kindness and respect. The whole staff team gets to know children and their families well, ensuring individual needs are met effectively. Children are well prepared for moving to the next room or school, as staff have a clear understanding of what they need to learn.

Pricing & funding

This nursery offers a range of flexible daily sessions with varying hours rather than standard half or full days. Fees are charged per day and are inclusive of nappies, lotion, sleep bedding, snacks, and meals depending on the session length chosen.
