Inspector highlights

  • Children are able to hang up their coats and wash their hands before mealtimes, supporting their independence.
  • Children develop a keen interest in books, learning new words and recalling and acting out their favourite parts.
  • Children are polite, calm and well mannered, using 'kind hands' and supporting one another.
  • Babies seek comfort from staff when they are unsettled, and staff are able to soothe them quickly.
  • Staff encourage children to practise self-help skills, such as putting on their coats and changing their shoes.

Fantastic nursery,I can't rate it highly enough, we tried 2 other 'outstanding' rated nurseries near Colchester but this one is the best. 2 boys here for a year now. Nursery is like a big homely house and the ladies really care for the children.
