About this day nursery

Broomfield Private Day Nursery Ltd, located in Bradford and established in 2018, provides childcare for children aged 0-11 years. Open Monday to Friday, from 7am until 6pm, all year round except for one week at Christmas, the nursery offers a welcoming environment where children experience high standards of care and learning.

A significant focus is placed on understanding each child and their family to create a supportive atmosphere where every child can thrive. The nursery prides itself on its effective arrangements for supporting children as they transition between rooms and prepare for school.

Both the indoor and outdoor learning environments are rich with opportunities for development; for instance, preschoolers show great pride in independently navigating the climbing frame. The curriculum is well-planned, ensuring children build on their existing knowledge, with a strong emphasis on the prime areas of early years learning.

A particular strength, highlighted in the "Good" rated Ofsted inspection of March 2025, is the support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Staff engage with a variety of specialists, undertake additional training, and develop detailed learning plans to meet the needs of children with complex requirements.

The nursery also excels in fostering self-care skills and independence, with staff adept at identifying when children are ready for milestones like toilet training and supporting the development of social skills such as sharing and turn-taking.

My little boy has come on leaps and bounds here. After a traumatic experience with a child minder I was apprehensive. But I am so glad I trusted in the manager and staff 🥰
