The management team are very welcoming. The children all seem settled and happy. My child has thrived since being at this nursery. The Manager Dana is very supportive even though I am s demanding parent. She gives me great advise and support for my child.

At first impressions asthetically pleasing to look at. Nice spacious room compared to other nurseries. Seems to have all the necessary amenities a nursery should have, with a soft play area and a big outdoor play area. However do not be fooled by the physical amenities. This place is more like a crèche rather than a nursery. The one year my child attended this place, she left having learnt nothing. I taught her more at home. In their monthly assessments via the ParentZone app they told us what they will be doing with my child next month, nothing came to fruition. They updated info on the app as and when they could, so wasn’t always on time. Only found out what my daughter had to eat the next day. And this wasn’t always honest, as they told us she has eaten everything at lunch, but when asking her wasn’t always the case. Since she started at the nursery she had several different key workers, however this changed month by month due to the individuals going on maternity leave, in result my child couldn’t form a bond with a particular one. As a mother I asked my child what did you do today at nursery and all I got from her is played in “home corner”. It looks like she only went there to play and nothing else. Not a great stepping stone for the next step into school. And the excursions were always on a day where she didn’t attend, as was only doing 15 hours. How about making it fair and giving an equal experience to every child?. Just an idea. I did notice the staff did tend to have favourites. I am glad she was only there for the one year. As I would definitely have moved her if she had to attend this place for another year.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since it opened in April 2017. She has come on leaps and bounds and has a brilliant bond with all of the staff. The Manager Dana is very friendly and welcoming and is always available if I need any support and advice

One of the worst excuses for a childcare and should be shut for their practices! They say all the right things but deliver on none, including giving apprentices kids to take care of (which they shouldn't be) but claim otherwise (saw this happen with my own eyes on a few occasions including one admitting that is what was happening. Escalated this with management and they made changes). Their duty of care to kids is non existent as I experienced with my own and saw with several others. They love taking items from you that they can use excessively for others rather than the child it is intended for. They lost my child's clothes, bag and trainers on a few occasions with no attempt to find or offer apology. Last straw was when I dropped in for a scheduled meeting to see "management" with all these issues and saw staff messing around, cursing in corridor and not obeying the ratio of kids to practioner, obviously changed their demeanour when they spotted me. AVOID SENDING YOUR KID HERE, FROM EXPERIENCE THERE ARE MANY BETTER PROVIDERS RATHER THAN THESE COWBOYS WHO ARE CAN SELL BUT NOT DELIVER

A clean, loving and caring environment. Sad having to leave due to logistics, but I went to view many nurseries and none I felt as clean and warming as Kids Planet. Staff have been understanding of circumstances and wish them best if luck.
