Inclusion & environment
Staff assess children's progress accurately and help them to achieve the next steps in their learning. They have a good understanding of child development and know when children need extra support. Staff work closely with parents and other professionals so that children get the help they need, which means any gaps in children's learning close quickly.
Children express delight when attending forest school. They show high levels of engagement when involved in outdoor activities. Leaders place outdoor learning at the heart of the curriculum, as many children attending the setting do not have access to outdoor space at home. Children use the large garden daily, and they participate regularly in forest school activities in the local woods. All children benefit from opportunities for outdoor learning, fresh air and exercise.
Both my kids have been so happy here; they love the staff, who are absolutely fantastic, and have been particularly helpful with settling in, transitioning from nappies and encouraging healthy eating. The structured learning is genuinely engaging, and they've picked up a lot of general life skills too. There's plenty of outdoor time, which keeps them active and helps to burn off excess energy. On the practical side, the nursery has been flexible, helpful and communicative. Overall, we feel very lucky to have chanced on this place, which continues to exceed our expectations.
Read on GoogleIt's a lovely nursery. All the staff are super friendly, they give me daily updates on my son. He found it hard to settle in and they were so flexible and worked with us to make it easier all round. Would definitely recommend.
Read on GoogleThe manager is rude. I started doing and apprenticeship they’re I felt like they were treating me like some sort of cleaner.when I started st 9:30 I would be at the door knocking for atleast 3-5mins she would’ve always tell me I was late when it was not my fault. The manager doesn’t do anything apart from sit in her office. She called me up being quiet rudeish about the times I start so now I just don’t bother go she has no respect.
