Burbage Institute, located in the heart of Burbage village in Derbyshire, serves as a community hub, offering facilities for various activities, meetings, and classes. Adjacent to Christ Church, the village store, and Burbage Primary School, it aims to enhance the quality of life for local residents.

The Institute is a registered charity, managed by a trustee board with strong ties to the Burbage community. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the trustees focused on upgrading facilities to improve safety and accessibility.

Their future goal is to increase the use of their affordable village hall by diverse groups, fulfilling its purpose of serving the communities of Burbage, Buxton, and the High Peak. The Institute welcomes enthusiastic volunteers to join their team.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Kate and her AMAZING team! Your continued support for my grandchildren has been simply superb….. Although challenging at times you always look to encourage, acknowledge and support individual needs and without prejudice! This place is just brilliant. The staff take great care of my children. They are probably the most flexible childcare setting in buxton. Ofsted rated good consistently and you can see why! They are outstanding in my opinion though!

The manager Kate was not aware I was in the building as Hayley was putting a nappy in the bin outside I could hear my son screaming from the car outside I ran in to find my son cowering next to the toilet on the floor hyperventilating severely distraught with Kate ignoring him sat the floor away from him playing on her phone! She even tried to deny to my partner she was playing on her phone, This place used to be good until all the staff started looking after there own children in nursery it should not be allowed my son is traumatised from this place avoid like the plague there are much better professional nurseries in Buxton where staff are not bias and distracted with there own children it’s noisy chaotic and smells of dirty nappies constantly

The staff are brilliant and our son practically runs in every morning without looking back. Communication is excellent and wouldn't think of sending him anywhere else.
