45pm. Uniquely located within a primary school, it provides a well-embedded curriculum with a strong focus on school readiness for children aged 3–4 years.

Children benefit from opportunities to learn school routines and expectations, including joining the primary school for morning assembly. The pre-school fosters independence skills, with children washing their own hands, buttering toast, and making food choices.

There is also a focus on developing small-muscle and hand-to-eye coordination, such as painting and moulding play dough. The dedicated Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) works closely with staff and parents, seeking professional expertise when needed, to provide individual and small-group support enabling children with special educational needs and/or disabilities to make good progress.

The pre-school provides access to outdoor play, though the Ofsted inspection noted that on one occasion, the outdoor learning was not fully utilised for all-round development. Partnerships with parents are strong, with staff exchanging information and providing updates through various channels, and parents often comment on how much their children love attending and how fantastic the staff are.
