Busy Bees Day Nursery at Birmingham Dartmouth Circus

I have moved to the UK last year, and I had been skeptical about leaving my child at a Nursery here, but after meeting Amber ( the current manager) at this busy bees branch she had guaranteed " 5 star service" and advised us that they have cameras and children are under war h 24/7. I had since the beginning always been skeptical about their carers and room people because quite frankly it looked like they didn't care just passively observing the children. However my wife and amber convinced me otherwise and I won't lie he has been fitting in to some extent. I pay out of pocket for all the meals and food and they simply write "refused" on the application - which I think is terrible on its own . But today my 2 year old child was upset since he was picked up from the nursery - he was woken up from asleep. Apparently they had an activity outdoors and he had this mixture of dirt twigs sand shoved in his mouth for 2-3 hours which my wife immediately realized while sitting the car from picking him up. He could have choked on this. What a joke, I'm considering changing as soon as I find an alternate what a waste. Please be careful for your children because these guys don't care. UPDATE : sorry it took so long for me to update this review. But I filed a complaint they launched and internal investigation, and "found no cause" , then said " we can't guarantee this wont happen again". I removed him immediately from the daycare then. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH - IT IS NOT JUST ME IT IS WIDESPREAD ONLINE ABOUT BUSY BEES BEING CARELESS AND WHEN CAUGHT DOING THIS FAKE INTERNAL INVESTIGATION. I should have reported them to Ofsted I fear it's too late now.

Absolutely amazing establishment, the staff are incredible and always go the extra mile. I was nervous at first about leaving my child in the care of others but that soon went. The staff were always happy to provide feedback as well as keeping me upto date on the app. I highly recommend this nursery.

The staff are caring, compassionate, patient and kind. They serve healthy food and snacks, they spend time outside and the curriculum is a good mix of practical and academic learning. More importantly, my son is very happy here and that's a testament to the staff. Huge shout out to Sophie who is just a wonderful person, she's kind, caring and makes my son excited to go to nursery. I would highly recommend this nursery as it is inclusive, flexible and the staff are great.

First off I would like to say I have never written a review before but I felt the need to. Busy bees “Dartmouth circus” is a credit to the company. I recently started my 2 year old daughter at this nursery (her first time ever at a nursery)it’s amazing not only is the facility so clean and warm. The staff are so lovely. I visited a few nursery’s before deciding on this one so I’ve had my fair share. I was greeted by a lovely staff member Amber she was so kind and welcoming she asked about my daughter and seemed very interested in her well-being this was my first tick, so I decided to do settling in for me it’s not just the building I’m looking at but the people who are caring for my child. My Daughter has fallen in love with nursery and the two nursery teachers Adina and jess are so attentive, kind and very professional. I get regular updates and progress everyday. I’m greeted with smiles every day by staff and my daughter is the happiest she has ever been away from me.Even when my daughter is not at nursery all she does is talk and sing about her teachers this absolutely warms my heart. The nursery manager Jessica is so kind and very professional she runs a tight ship and it shows with the quality of the nursery she is an asset to busy bees.

The best! Freindly staff, very large clean rooms & Very engaging activities for young children. We have a HUGE family and so have used LOTS of different nurseries, busy bee is the best by a long way.
