Our ethos

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, supporting all areas of your child’s development. Our early years practitioners monitor each child’s progress and plan a variety of enriching experiences to support individual development in all areas of learning. We try to make everyday fun and provide lots of opportunities to learn. Activities are planned around our children’s interests so they are engaged and learning along the way.

They immediately engage with planned activities, and babies new to the nursery receive lots of cuddles and comforting words to help them settle quickly. Staff develop children's mathematical skills through activities like counting cars, and promote language using songs and stories, helping children to expand their vocabulary.

Outdoor space

Children learn about healthy lifestyles and benefit from outdoor play. Older children have plenty of opportunities to play outside, where they benefit from a range of exciting activities and opportunities planned for them to enjoy, such as developing physical skills navigating bicycles around tracks. However, staff do not consider how to plan the curriculum and learning environment for babies and young children outdoors to offer a variety of engaging play opportunities.

We’re so grateful for the amazing care our son receives at this nursery. From the moment we walk in, the staff welcome him with warmth, energy, and kindness. It’s clear they genuinely care about each child. We've seen real progress in his confidence, communication, and social skills since he started. The team keeps us informed about his development with photos and activities they do and always offers helpful guidance and support. It’s a joy to see him happy and excited to go every day. Thank you to the wonderful staff for creating such a positive, nurturing environment — we couldn’t be happier! The best nursery in Birmingham ❤️ I truly recommend it without any hesitation ❤️
