The effective key-person system helps children settle well, ensuring they feel emotionally safe and secure. The curriculum is carefully designed to ensure a progression of skills across all age groups and areas of learning, with staff considering each child's individual needs.
For example, babies are taught to feed themselves and older children use forks and pour their own drinks, promoting independence. Can't thank the team at Busy Bees enough for making our daughter so happy and settled, after initially having a bit of separation anxiety. Tanya and the team have gone above and beyond to give us more settling sessions, consistency with key workers and ensuring room availability, despite being under a lot of staffing pressure post Covid. Having attended their parents' open evening, it was also clear how much they care about the children and their emotional and physical development. The nursery have a ParentZone App which is updated with meals, nappies and activities and staff always take time to communicate how the day has gone on pickup. A special thank you to room manager Barbara for taking our daughter under her wing and helping her to settle and transition to the next room now she is 2 years old. Our daughter is now flourishing and growing in confidence. Can't recommend this nursery highly enough.
