Children receive a warm welcome, with babies happily greeting their key person and older children confidently making their way to their group rooms. The highly effective leadership team is committed to providing high-quality provision.
Children are encouraged to be independent in managing their personal needs, such as putting on shoes and coats or getting their own drinks. Both indoor and outdoor activities are designed to support children's health and physical development.
Younger children develop crawling and walking skills with well-positioned soft-play blocks, while toddlers engage in risk-taking by stepping between crates. Pre-school children are challenged with more complex obstacles like climbing and balancing on crates and planks.

The dedicated SEND coordinator works closely with staff, other professionals, and parents, ensuring that each child's learning and care needs are consistently met, utilising additional funding for appropriate resources.

Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are very well supported. The SEND coordinator works closely alongside staff, other professionals and parents to ensure children's learning and care needs are consistently met. Additional funding is used appropriately for resources to meet children's individual learning needs.
Children benefit from a range of activities, indoors and outside, that support their good health and physical development. Outside toddlers begin to take risks as staff teach them to step safely from one crate to the next. Pre-school children carefully navigate more complex obstacles as they climb and balance on crates and planks.
The girls at Spinney Hill are fabulous. I was so incredibly anxious to take my little girl to nursery so I could work, she’s 1 now but was 10 months when she started. The girls were so good with her and me and my husband have felt totally reassured throughout the whole process. It was hard at first but our little girl loves it now. It’s always a worry trusting your child with essentially strangers, but our little one is clearly very happy and the staff are just wonderful. It’s a hard job looking after children all day and they do an amazing job of it. Thank you everyone at Spinney Hill for making sure our precious girl is happy, fed, watered and cared for.
Read on GoogleNice setting with great facilities, equipped to do childcare whatever the weather. Staff are friendly and welcoming, however the communication is poor regarding child's progress. The nursery did very little prep to get our child ready for school last September, which was disappointing considering they state their brand is the best start to life and their fees are high. Nice setting to just watch your child whilst your at work, but the nursery lacks leadership in general.
Read on GoogleSpinney Hill Center is absolutely incredible, they are very supportive. They have helped my son thrive and develop in a supportive loving environment
Read on GoogleAll staff are brilliant, friendly and very welcoming. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting with Busy bees since October 2021. My daughter can be quite an emotional little girl at times and has days where she can get a little bit upset when arriving in the mornings, however the team are fantastic in keeping me updated and also distracting her. (We all know how small children can pull on our heart strings) . My daughter’s Key worker Shannon has been brilliant on updating me on what my daughter has been doing throughout the day, she’s easy to talk to and even have a laugh with. Thank you to Shannon and all the Busy bees team!
Read on GoogleIt’s absolutely wonderful. The staff are like a second family to my little one. Communication is spot on and my child is very happy in this setting.
