Busy Bees Day Nursery at Stowmarket, established in 2002, provides childcare for children aged 0-4 years. Open all year round from 7:30 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, the nursery offers a welcoming and secure environment for young learners.

The latest Ofsted inspection, on July 5, 2024, rated the nursery as 'Good' overall. Children are warmly greeted by friendly staff and benefit from well-structured routines that help them feel safe and secure.

The staff are attentive to individual needs, especially for babies, whose home care routines are acknowledged and followed. The nursery offers an interesting and varied curriculum, indoors and outdoors, designed to encourage curiosity in all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).

The learning environment is rich, with activities building on what children already know and can do. Children are encouraged to be independent and respectful, learning key skills for transitions to new rooms or school.

They also develop a love of literature through engaging storytelling and access to books in the nursery library.

The best nursery. We moved our little girl from another nursery in the area that we weren’t happy with. She is thriving in this nursery, all the staff are lovely, she comes home speaking about them and repeating their names. The best nursery!!!

Very disappointed. Had to call to book a viewing, they told me there are spaces. Got to the nursery and got told they have no spaces until September 2026. Wasted my time and disgusting to reserve places for 2 years in advance.
