About this day nursery

Apricot Day Nursery, situated in St Neots, offers a nurturing and intimate environment for children, focusing on their cognitive, social, and physical development. The nursery employs a Montessori approach in a home-like setting, encouraging learning through play and offering diverse activities tailored to individual interests.

The curriculum is enriched with the "Brighter Learning Approach," which emphasises hands-on experiences, child-led learning, and critical thinking across six core areas: My Happy and Healthy Self, Wonderful World, Super Steam, Raving Readers, Mini Maths, and Confident Speakers and Communicators. The nursery is open 51 weeks a year, from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, with flexible full-day, early start, and late finish options.

They also offer a "Next Stop School" programme to ease the transition to primary school and provide a £30 Clarks voucher for school shoes upon graduation. Meals are prepared fresh on-site using seasonal ingredients, catering to various dietary needs.

Each child is assigned a key person to ensure personalised care and communication with parents, who receive daily verbal and digital updates. The nursery also provides ample outdoor play areas and supplementary clubs like cookery, movement, art, music, gardening, and science.
