Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those facing learning barriers are effectively supported, making good progress from their starting points. The curriculum is adapted, and an inclusive culture identifies needs early, collaborating with families and external professionals. Children with SEND benefit from reasonable adjustments and targeted support, with staff adapting activities and using visual aids or smaller group interactions.

Outdoor space

Older children regularly enjoy outdoor play, exploring various surfaces like puddles, leaves, and mud, which aids in building strength and balance. While outdoor play is usually part of daily routines for babies and toddlers, recent rainfall prevented the youngest children from accessing the muddy garden during the inspection. The nursery is working to enhance outdoor learning, especially for babies, to ensure accessibility in all weather conditions.

EAL / language support

Children who speak English as an additional language are sensitively supported, with staff partnering with parents to share key words in home languages. Leaders monitor progress and evaluate support, aiming to strengthen this provision further.

A bit disappointed about the preschool group as they do not have any rules and the team don’t have in program to learn the kids , to do same letter or numbers as in September some of them are going to school. Another thing which it’s wired, when the kids going in playground outside they come in classrooms very dirty and they not have program of washing hands , which I think it’s very important, they continuing to play and eat with dirty hands . The batteries are everywhere 😔
