We feel so lucky that our daughter goes to Busy bodies for nursery. We choose the nursery as for us it gave all the benefits of a child minder feel with trips and such in a nursery setting. We love the outdoor space and they are fantastic at making the most of this. Our daughter really looks forward to the forest school sessions. All the staff are so approachable and supportive. No question is too much bother. It really feels like a partnership to support the children be confident, happy and learning new things. The nursery build in numerous meaningful activities into the day, it is great to hear what they have been up to that day. We have been really impressed to learn the nurseries values and priorities on what to teach the children. For example encouraging practicing talking and asking questions to new people when out and about, a really important skill for children to feel confident in as they grow. Our daughter really benefits from being around a range of ages, a chance for her to learn from the older children. She loves babies, so really enjoys helping the younger children, a great experience for her.

I moved to the area 8 months ago, and me n my husband viewed busy bodies nursery 1st we fell in love and cancelled all our other viewings. As Nicole and the staff wore very friendly and all the children wore so happy. Busy bodies have a beautiful field for children to play outside including a woodlands school. My daughter then started with part time and she really started to shine. Picking up speech and numbers nursery ryhms and sitting on the potty. I adore this nursery they provide diversity and a person centered approach to all the little ones attending. Busy bodies also provide vegetarian and vegan options on the menue. I always feel reassured leaving my daughter even tho she cries on drop offs, the staff always make sure to comfort her and make sure she is settled and update me to let me know she is ok. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a loving home to home feel. I know when I have my next baby where I will be sending the baby .

Everyone at Busy Bodies has been brilliant since our son started. He hadn’t been away from us before but we were always made to feel comfortable and not pushed to leave him at drop off before he or we were happy to. We couldn’t have asked for better communication and we’ve been so happy with how caring and lovely everyone has been. They’ve really supported our son to settle in well and be comfortable chatting, eating and napping, and even supported us in helping our son speak his second language outside our home. It’s really clear that all the children are appreciated as individuals and encouraged to be independent, and that all the staff, not only the allocated key worker, know the children really well. We’re really happy to have found this setting, feel really comfortable leaving him there, and are also really pleased we don’t have to move rooms/settings as he gets older!

An absolutely fantastic childcare provider - I’ll be so sad when my daughter leaves to go to school this year. She’s been in the setting for over two years, and has gone from strength to strength since starting. She gets a lot of one to one development and they continue to stretch and challenge her whilst keeping everything super fun and engaging. She absolutely adores all the “grown ups” and all the children are super lovely. Her experience is so blended, they go on brilliant day trips out (sealife centre/farm, country parks, space centre, winter wonderland), do varied sports and activities, they have a lovely outdoor space for the kids to regularly and safely explore the woods, they learn lots about other cultures and individuality, great support around “traditional” education with her numbers, phonics and spelling, and she honestly eats better than I do - the food menu is delicious! The nursery keep us updated with regular parents check ins, opportunities to come and observe, a newsletter, catch ups at drop off and pick up, and they’re always just at the end of the phone when we need them. All the staff are so warm and kind, and you can tell how passionate they are about the kids. I can see their influence in my daughter’s behaviour. If she could stay until she was 18 I would honestly let her. She always come homes with the best stories about her day. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. A million stars.

Busy Bodies is a stupendous child care, development and nurturing setting. Nicol has assembled a crack team of professionals who seem to take genuine pleasure and pride in the development of the children. Being an owner lead nursery makes the world of difference as changes can be effected much quicker. Nicol is a paragon of patience - her calm demeanour and attention to the little details (that are often the really important ones) have given us so much peace of mind since our daughter joined. The weekly trips are a real treat - considered trips in line with the learning happening at the nursery setting. We particularly appreciate that all religions, faiths and cultures are explored. The education side is also worth a mention - the younger children benefit so much for the school prep that the team does for the older children. In short, we cant speak highly enough of this nursery and feel blessed to have found it. We all love it and thank Nic and the whole team for being so wonderful.
