Staff are proactive in supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), ensuring, for example, that non-walking children can participate in outdoor play alongside their peers, accessing toys and enjoying the grass with staff support. Outdoor learning is encouraged, with pre-school children developing physical skills by balancing on tyres in the garden.
Staff engage children in detailed conversations, expanding their vocabulary with descriptive words, and foster independence, such as encouraging children to serve their own food at mealtimes. Parents are pleased with the progress their children make and appreciate the practical advice offered by staff to support children's behaviour at home.
