Butterfly's Day Nursery, a well-established family-operated business, has been delivering top-tier childcare and early education across North and West Yorkshire since 1997. They aim to foster a secure, loving, and stimulating environment where each child can flourish and realise their full potential, likening their growth to a unique butterfly.
The nursery caters to children from three months onwards, operating 51 weeks a year with extended hours from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. They are dedicated to providing consistent care, opting against the use of agency staff.
Meals are freshly prepared on-site by qualified chefs, accommodating various dietary needs and allergies, with menus available upon request. The nursery strongly adheres to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, assigning a key person to each child and utilising the Connect Childcare app for parents to track their child's progress and communicate with staff.
Safeguarding is a priority, with secure access systems in place.

Inclusion & environment
For example, children with special educational needs and/or disabilities enjoy cuddles and gentle interactions with their key person. The special educational needs coordinator spoke to the inspector about how they support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
The outdoor environment offers lots of opportunities for risk and challenge. For example, children show confidence when trying to climb the ladders on the slide and resilience when things become challenging.
Excellent nursery! I feel so comfortable leaving my son in their care. Massive thank you to the staff, they are dedicated and attentive and do their utmost to accommodate each child's personality and preferences, special mention for Lesley who did everything she could to help my son settle in. She has been so supportive and I feel comfortable discussing things with her. Now he loves going there and has a lovely bond with the staff and other children and gets to do lots of activities that he doesn't often get to do at home. I can definitely see his development coming on in leaps and bounds. Lots of tasty sounding food on the menu too so he gets to eat a variety of things. Highly recommend.
Read on GoogleThe nursery staff are amazing and so friendly. My daughter has settled in well and is happy to go to nursery. She talks about the staff all the time at home just like they are our family. If I am having difficulty with something I am able to talk to any staff member about it and I am reassured or given advice.
