The Woodland Pre-School, part of the Waterton Pre-School family, offers Early Years Education and childcare for children aged 2-5 years. The Pre-School focuses on providing a high-quality, engaging curriculum that caters to each child's individual interests, needs, and developmental pace.
Play is central to their approach, ensuring a happy and stimulating environment where children can explore and learn. The Woodland Pre-School aims to foster a sense of self and encourage progress through positive adult interactions and a variety of exciting activities.
They operate 51 weeks a year, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, offering flexible options to accommodate families and support government funding entitlements. Prospective families are welcome to visit the Pre-School for a tour, either during open days or by appointment.

Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) make good progress. Staff use additional funding to support children with SEND to access the full curriculum. Special educational needs coordinators create achievable targets and ensure that all staff understand how best to support children with SEND.
Staff use the outdoor area to grow fruit and vegetables with children. They provide children with a nutritious diet.
