Our son did not respond well to Buzy Bees policy of being dropped off at the front doorstep like a parcel. Despite asking I wasn’t allowed to step into the doorway to settle him and take his coat off during drop off. Whilst at nursery he had a serious deterioration in his health and behaviour as he refused food and drink and cried daily from the time we dropped him off until when we picked him up. He had to be referred to the health visitor and GP after a month of being there. His distress was clear when he started hiding under the sheets, not wanting to leave the house and shaking in the car when we pulled up to the nursery. He was no longer full of joy. We expressed our concerns to senior staff and tried to get them to understand our sons needs and show some compassion and flexibility. We were met with a refusal to do anything differently and as a result, despite paying for a full months fees, he was withdrawn for his health and well-being. I would NOT recommend Buzy Bees as it was an extremely distressing experience and terrible choice on our part. I am glad that my son recovered from this ordeal and has since been able to settle well in another nursery who communicate more effectively with us and treat my son much better.

I’ve used a couple of nurseries in the past and my experience here has been outstanding. The staff are honestly the best I’ve come across and my daughters adore them, regularly talk about the staff at home and look forward to going to nursery and telling the staff what they’ve been up to.
