Inclusion & environment
The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) has a good knowledge of any children who may be at risk of falling behind. She ensures that the curriculum is adapted to meet children's individual needs while waiting for referrals.
The outdoor space provides many opportunities for children to develop their physical skills. For instance, staff support children to carefully walk across a wooden plank, which helps children to develop good balance and coordination skills. Staff also provide a range of opportunities for physically active play outdoors, for example, older children run, jump and climb in their individual gardens and babies push cars around tracks and climb a small wooden slide.
We have visited the Carr Manor Nursery sensory room twice (£10 for an hour) and we had a lovely time..I took my daughter when she was 8 weeks and 12 weeks and it was lovely to spend 1:1 time with her away from the usual business of sensory classes. Looking forward to coming again soon now she is almost five months old as I'm sure she'll be exploring more!
Read on GoogleMy daughter is thriving at Carr Manor. She has some additional needs, but they have been proactive in getting extra funding for her and bending over backwards to give her that extra support. She is so happy there and I would recommend Carr Manor to everyone. Their SENCO is worth her weight in gold, but all the staff are too
Read on GoogleThis is a lovely caring nursery that is run by loving nursery staff, they are so caring. Leslie the owner is great to talk to, she tells you so much information in the best possible way to help you. I always ring up at last minute to book my daughter in and they always happy to take her. If you ever need a nursery new to the area or even a local, this is the place to take your siblings. Thank you again to all the staff for taking care of my daughter.
