The staff at Cascades Childcare are dedicated to creating a nurturing and stimulating "home-from-home" environment where children are happy, confident, and eager to learn. They focus on understanding each child's interests, home life, and developmental stage to ensure a smooth settling-in process, supported by an effective key-person system.
The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to promote development across all learning areas, with staff actively encouraging exploration through engaging activities, such as sensory experiences for babies to support early language development. A strong emphasis is placed on outdoor learning, where children can develop physical skills like balance using low play equipment.
Cascades Childcare also provides quality support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), working closely with parents and other professionals to create an inclusive environment and meet individual learning needs. Inclusion & environment

The staff place a strong emphasis on outdoor learning. Outdoors, children learn specific physical skills, such as balance. Babies' early physical skills are supported well as they climb and slide on the low play equipment, accessing the outdoor area regularly.
