Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Integration of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is of high priority, and children benefit from excellent support from the staff team, in partnership with external agencies. Children's needs are swiftly identified, in consultation with parents, and referrals are made for external help and support if this is required. Staff are highly skilled in supporting children, evident when pre-school staff play alongside children with SEND, modelling words and using signing to encourage communication.

Outdoor space

Children are keen to find the box of tissues, including when they are playing outdoors. A well-planned decked area allows very young children in the baby room to freely move around and explore. However, occasionally, staff do not plan well enough in the larger outdoor play space for children to fully support their attention and concentration; children tend to flit between mostly large physical play resources and do not engage in activities for longer periods of time.

Amazing nursery with the most wonderful staff. My kids have been so settled here. Staff are always happy to chat and help and they’ve catered for intolerances for my youngest. I highly recommend this nursery, hands down the best I’ve experienced.

My son and grandson both attended willows, so I've experienced the nursery twice in 18 years, the first 18 years ago,and the last, two years ago, and I'm pleased to say,the very high standards of 18 years ago have not changed, there has been changes, but none have affected the quality of care or pre school education the little ones recieve. The level of support available to parents experiencing difficulty is fantastic, food for the children is prepared and cooked on site by willows own chef, and staff are all excellent. Lots of very food memories from willows, I'd urge anyone to at least take a look!

This kindergarten is rubbish! They never reply to your calls, and their attitude is terrible every time you call. Their only response is always the same three words: "I don't know." I don't understand why the UK has such a bad kindergarten system, preventing my child from attending kindergarten. 🤷‍♀️ They don't even reply to emails or answer calls, they never give you a result, just wasting your time. rubbish
