How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported by the staff team. The staff are highly proactive in recognising concerns and supporting children, and where formal plans are needed, these are completed in time for children to move on to the next stage in their learning with the correct level of support. They also work with families and other professionals to build targets.

Outdoor space

Children have regular opportunities to play outdoors and engage in robust physical movement. Older children competently manoeuvre around the space on scooters and trikes. Staff support children to play together as they invite them to participate in simple ring games.

If there were more starts I would give them ,lovely friendly staff and manger.the best place and safest place you could take your child they are like a second mum for your child I wish I knew about this place earlier.

My son, Ildeniz, attended Montagu Castle Nursery from the age of one until his reception year, and we couldn't have been happier with the care he received. From the moment he joined, the team supported him wholeheartedly, helping him flourish both socially and emotionally. Vikkie, the nursery manager, is a true gem - kind, nurturing, and always available with a warm smile. Joanne was equally invaluable, offering practical solutions to any challenge we faced. Over the years, Aliyah, Rosie, Katherine, Karen and Helen served as Ildeniz's primary carers; each one showed genuine affection, patience, and kindness. Thanks to their attentiveness -like diligently keeping a food journal to pinpoint the cause of his early eczema - they went above and beyond to ensure his comfort and well-being. Under their guidance, Ildeniz has grown into a gentle, sociable young boy who respects others and makes friends effortlessly. We are deeply grateful for the love, dedication, and support the Montagu Castle Nursery team has shown us over the years. Thank you all for being such an important part of his childhood!

Such a fantastic nursery. Wendy the manger and staff in the rooms are such lovely people always go above and beyond to help the parents and children. My son kai loved this nursery nd didnt want to leave. I would definately recommend this nursery to other parents and families.

Amazing Nursery! The management and staff are always there to help. My son went here for 3 years and left for primary school this year and we both still miss everyone here. Still planning to go back for a visit. Couldn't ask for a better nursery.
