About this day nursery

Castle Nursery, established in 1986, offers a nurturing and secure environment for children to learn and grow. With two main locations, Parkside Nursery and Perryfields Nursery, the establishment provides varied settings, from a purpose-built facility with bright glazed corridors to a traditional cottage with a homely feel.

Each nursery room, including dedicated spaces for babies, toddlers, and preschool children, features its own outdoor area to encourage free-flowing indoor and outdoor play. The nursery prioritises the well-being of its children, focusing on quality care, a warm atmosphere, healthy and balanced meals catering to dietary needs, and fostering respect for diversity among the children.

Beyond the nursery, Castle Nursery also extends its services to older children through the Castle Kids Club, which offers before and after-school care at various school locations and a holiday club during half-term and summer breaks.

As parents choosing a Nursery we found it a daunting decision, however after several recommendations and from walking into Castle we completely felt at ease and at home. The children were all happy, content and engaged. Our decision was made. Our daughter is thriving there and we are really encouraged with her development. It only took a couple of weeks for her to settle and we can only thank the wonderful staff for making her and us feel welcome, supported and cared for. We are updated each day with activities and feel very informed with our daughter's progress. We chose the meal options and on a whole she eats really well, lots of variety and nutrition. We are often invited to Stay and Play sessions throughout the term and are kept well informed of upcoming activities with newsletters. A special thank you to the staff in the baby room, we have every confidence that the transition into toddlers will be just as smooth. Thank you again
