Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported. Partnerships between staff, parents and other professionals ensure that children's needs are met, and any gaps in children's learning are addressed. Staff share information with parents each day at handover times and through a software application, providing weekly updates on their child's development and talking to parents about how they can help their child's learning at home. This particularly benefits children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, as targeted support strategies are used both at home and in the setting.
Children make good progress in their physical development. Outside, staff support older children to create obstacle courses. They practise climbing, jumping, balancing and running. Leaders also have ambitious plans for the development of the outdoor area.
My daughter has been coming here since 8months old and she loves it. She has progressed very quickly and always comes home doing new things. The team are great, my daughter has good bonds with all the staff and is very comfortable being left with them. The nursery has flexible hours so you can fit around your work schedules. The nursery is designed for working parents and it’s certainly helped me in going back to work. Thankyou guys 💕
