How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) have tailored support to help them to make progress. The leadership team and staff identify children with SEND through their assessments and discussions with parents, working with parents and other professionals to ensure children's needs are met and a suitable curriculum is in place. Staff have completed sign language training to support children with speech and language delay.

Outdoor space

Staff are vigilant and deployed well between the indoor and outdoor areas to ensure children are safely supervised. Staff provide older children with a range of activities to develop their strength and coordination, such as pushing each other on the large swing and balancing on beams and logs.

My son's journey started with cheeky chimps last year. We are so happy and pleased with the entire teams hardwork and dedication towards the kids. My son has achieved a lot from the team . Both my children attended Cheeky Chimps from a young age, right up until they left for school. They were always happy and well cared for. The staff are amazing, and the environment always seemed warm and friendly. Highly recommended.

I’ve been sending my son to cheeky chimps for the last few years and he absolutely loves it. He always talks so highly of every member of staff who are all so caring! They are always so flexible and accommodating with child care if your plans change. All round fantastic nursery!

It’ll be my sons last couple months at cheeky chimps but he attended since he was 2 years old and its been the best thing for him considering he was a lockdown baby the staff have brought his confidence and his speech has come along way too! Overall I’ve never experienced such an amazing setting! 😁.

A wonderful pre school! My daughter has loved every single day she’s been here, she’s never been upset about attending and always run off indoors leaving me without a goodbye half the time! The staff are absolutely wonderful and really get to know your child and indulge their strengths and interests! I absolutely recommend this pre school to anyone looking for somewhere to send their little one.
