My son has flourished at Cheldern. Big wide open spaces for learning and exploring, and the staff are all wonderful. He has loved his time there, and we’ve been really sad to say our goodbyes as he moves on to reception now.

Our son has absolutely flourished at Cheldern. I couldn't recommend them enough. Cheldern have gone above and beyond: our son has thrived and continues to thrive and he loves coming to nursery. His confidence has grown, we have regular updates and the children always look so happy in the activities they are undertaking each day. I'm just grateful that we have you nearby. Communication is fantastic. We have seen our child develop leaps and bounds in his speech, play and making friends here. Thank you for all you do and making it such a great place for kids to be, learn and have fun.

We moved to Bude end of last year and looked for a nursery for our 2 year old daughter. Previously she was in a very typical, Montessori style setting. We loved Cheldern because it was completely different from this! They use a curiosity approach type ethos and rather than being a big commercial business they are warm, friendly and want to get to know and love your children. The staff are all amazing and will do whatever you need with food, naps etc (again unusual in most contemporary settings) My daughter goes equipped with outdoor gear in prep for being outside and exploring in all weathers, whilst also being given amazing opportunities to bake, do craft and simply play! We are so so so happy with Cheldern - it’s absolutely everything we could want for our daughter and we feel very lucky to be part of the family!

Cheldern Nursery is hands down the best Nursery. It’s situated by a delightful working farm so the children have frequent visitors from the local animals! My son particularly enjoys seeing the tractors too! The staff as wonderful! I feel completely safe leaving my son with anyone working there. I know my son feels loved and cared for by every member of staff. The experiences they provide the children are wonderful. We’re so lucky to have this amazing Nursery in our doorstep! I’m sending my youngest son there when I go back to work and I’d highly recommend Cheldern to anyone looking for a Nursery/Pre-school!
