Cherry Tree Children's Day Nursery, established in 2011, offers childcare on non-domestic premises for children aged 0-4 years. 30am until 6pm, the nursery received a "Good" rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 30th April 2024.
The curriculum is thoughtfully planned to ensure children practise and embed each step of learning, preparing them well for school. Staff make song and rhyme time engaging for babies using props and instruments, and babies learn to independently say and repeat single words, with staff expanding on their vocabulary.
Toddlers enjoy sharing books, repeating words and phrases from familiar stories, and linking multiple words together. Pre-school children are encouraged to ask questions, demonstrating curiosity and concentration, especially when following spontaneous interests such as making a nest outdoors or using creative materials inside.
Parents have expressed satisfaction with the care and learning provided, noting good progress in their children's confidence, speech, and emotional literacy. The nursery places a strong emphasis on helping children manage their emotions and behave well, fostering a happy and safe environment.

Inclusion & environment
