Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
Parents comment that shy children become very confident and improve their language skills immensely.
They describe staff as nurturing, kind and considerate.
Inclusion & environment
Staff ensure that good support for children learning to speak English as an additional language and those with special educational needs and/or disabilities is provided. As such, they make quick progress.
Children have daily opportunities to be outside. Older children comment with confidence when they feel their hearts beating fast after exercise.
My daughter started at Cherry Tree when she was 1 and will now be leaving at the end of august for school. She has loved her time at Cherry Tree and will miss her friends and teachers. The teachers are an amazing team and the love and care they give to your child is truly special. The nursery feels like a family environment and the teachers make you feel so supported. We will both miss everyone from the nursery dearly and wish them all the best for the future. Xx
Read on GoogleWe spent a great deal of time researching local nurseries and settled on this one because of the obvious enthusiasm and competence of the staff. and new owners. The children spend a lot of time outside in the fresh air and are encouraged to use their imaginations. We visited twice and asked all the awkward questions and received frank and honest responses. For an adventurous and lively child this one is well worth a look. The building is what it is but, in our opinion, the pluses far outweigh the negatives.
Read on Google⚠️ Avoid ⚠️ Would actually give this 0 stars if possible. We only attended for a visit and I was put off sending my baby here just from that short time. Awful management, no professionalism. All children and adults were outside playing during our visit and whilst we were there a child just appeared from no where, unattended and the response was "oh X I didn't know you were under there" - this child was left alone for a considerable amount of time with a stranger.
