Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive targeted support, enabling them to make excellent progress, particularly in the prime areas of communication and language, physical development and personal, social and emotional development. Practitioners adapt activities and provide additional support where necessary, ensuring all children with SEND are fully included and make progress.
Children take great pride in joining the daily garden risk assessment with 'Superbear'. This promotes a strong sense of responsibility and awareness of safety. In the garden, children confidently remind adults not to go on the bridge because it is wet and slippery, demonstrating their growing ability to assess risks and apply their knowledge in real situations.
Nice staff, the outside is decorated nicely and the art gallery is so cool!
Read on GoogleThe community or Greyfriars as its called is a very big centre. We were there for the annual am-dram performance, which was really good. They have at least three function rooms and good clean toilets which is important and lots of parking nearby, bonus. An ideal centre for almost any occasion.
Read on GoogleExcellent community organisation with a host of events and activities. A good range of rooms for hire, a minibus service to bring people into town, a highly professional manager, and friendly and helpful staff ... and it's the best place to buy second-hand paperback books in Ringwood - still only 50p. If you've never been here ...go and have a look.
Read on GoogleSadly can’t recommend at all. Booked my daughters birthday party some months ago and paid on booking. No communication prior to the event but wasn’t worried as I had the booking. Arrived with the DJ, the face painter, all the food and decorations and one very excited birthday girl, to find the building was locked! There was no one there to help us, no number to call, and evidently no party. My daughter was absolutely devastated. I left a message on the answer machine at the time asking for them to call me urgently, and 3 days later, I’ve still not had a response! We rallied and saved the party with help from some strangers seeing my daughters distress, and other mums being ready to jump in and help. But from our local community centre, so help or sense of community at all. Very disappointed
