How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special education needs and/or disabilities are supported well and staff work effectively in partnership with other professionals. Staff follow advice received from professionals to close any gaps in learning a child may have. They use additional funding well to support children's learning. All children make good progress in their development.

Outdoor space

Children show good physical skills, exploring different ways of moving both indoors and outside, in the exciting nursery garden. They learn to balance on stepping-stones and crawl through tunnels, and older children know how to prepare themselves effectively to enjoy jumping in muddy puddles in the rain.

Highly recommend Cherrytree Nursery School. Such an amazing and caring place for your child to thrive and develop. All staff members are very welcoming and make you feel confident that your child is receiving the best care. We chose Cherrytree after viewing quite a few nurseries in the local area and Cherrytree was the only one we felt comfortable with to send our daughter to and we are so glad we did. She’s developed so well and has enjoyed her time here and we are so sad to be leaving, we know our little girl will miss everyone here very much. If you are considering a nursery for your child in the Ashford area we would highly recommend this nursery for your family! Thank you so much to all of the staff at Cherrytree.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I highly recommend Cherrytree Nursery, my daughter had an amazing experience and we could not have wished for a better start for her. The staff are fantastic, kind, attentive and really do make all the children and parents feel like part of the Cherrytree family. My daughter has thrived thanks to the great team effort of all the staff. She will really miss the nursery when she starts school in September. As a family both our children have attended Cherrytree nurseries and our eldest who left over 5 years ago still talks of her happy time she spent there. Thank you so much for all you have done for our family, we will miss you all.

This is a truly amazing nursery with an awesome team of dedicated staff. My daughter absolutely loved her time here. She really misses everything about it now she's at school, so we go back for holiday clubs just because they're so, so lovely. I honestly cannot praise, recommend or compliment this place more. You will not be disappointed. Thank you ladies again. We love you x

All 3 of my children have come to Cherrytree nursery in Kingsnorth road. My first child started in 2015 and last one finished in 2022 (1 week ago!) Cherrytree has always had such a lovely welcoming atmosphere and I have always felt like they genuinely care for my child, so I had no worries leaving my children in their care. They also always have the time to chat about the day or any concerns if you need to. I love how they have a slightly more structured approach to the day too, rather than letting all the children totally free roam anywhere and do anything all day, like some other nurseries seem to do, and that they are a montessori nursery. I have tried 2 other nurseries in Ashford for my 2nd and 3rd child, due to the distance once my oldest child was in school, but both times realised that the other nurseries were not comparable, with how safe I felt my child was and how I felt they were being taught/looked after while there, so soon moved them both to cherrytree too despite the extra distance I had to travel to take them there! They have all loved going to cherrytree and were all really sad that my youngest has now left to go to school, as they all have such fond memories of going there. If you are looking for a nursery in Ashford, then I would 100% recommend Cherrytree along Kingsnorth road.
