Inclusion & environment
The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) is highly skilled and works closely with other professionals to ensure that the needs of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are fully met. The nursery benefits from a well-equipped sensory room, which is regularly used for intervention sessions. Children with SEND make good progress towards closing any gaps in learning.
Children benefit from spacious outside areas and many opportunities to be physically active in their play. Babies have lots of space to crawl and cruise along equipment at different heights. Older children enjoy taking turns to travel along a balancing trail.
My daughter started attending Halbutt street 6 weeks ago. I was worried about her settling in as she never been without me prior starting nursery. She is 3 years old and only child. I got phone call from staff reassuring me about her when I needed it the first couple of days. Then she just settled so quickly and well. Bluebell room staff were so patient with her and build the bond that made her love her teachers, learnt daily routine and I must say she so much more independent at home since starting nursery. Manager Nadia is very friendly and involved with children as well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me ☺️
Read on GoogleI’m absolutely thrilled with my experience at Chestnut Nursery! Their care and dedication to our little one are truly heartwarming. The offset inspection on September 6th gave them a Good score in all five categories, showcasing the high standards they uphold. Our little one not only loves going there but also has a special bond with each and every caregiver. I genuinely don’t understand the one star reviews as they are not able to provide any real reason for those bad reviews.
Read on GoogleMy daughter is attending the nursery since October 2017 and without any modesty I can say that I have made the best decision ever, as I never had any fears or headaches: from her second day she was running and knocking the doors with her little arms opened, even if she was just 16 months old. I am just grateful and I want to say a huge THANK YOU to Hannah and Sharon( In daisy room)for thanking care of her with so much attention and love, and now to all the staff from Poppy Room( especially Hannah and Suzana - M. loves you a lot!). My daughter is happy in there, I can assume that as only a happy kid will bring the jacket in the morning to go to nursery. Happy with everything!Maria C
Read on GoogleDid visit in May, filled out and returned forms in May. Call today to get a start date to be told my daughter hasn't even been put on the system. When I called back to say you don't want our daughter there and we don't want our daughter there and if it's this hard to get her into your nursery I don't trust you to keep my daughter safe and keep us up to date the manager took offence. There's no accountability for staff as no managers or head office to call. I think we've had a lucky escape here.
Read on GoogleAbsolutely no care or organisation. Nursery has no sense of parental assurance.
