How they support every child

SEND provision

Support for children with special educational needs and or disabilities (SEND) is good. Strategies are in place to support children with SEND to understand the nursery routines and prepare for changes. For example, staff use 'transitional objects' to indicate what is happening next in their day. They support children with cuddles if they are struggling to manage their feelings and emotions.

Outdoor space

A range of physical development opportunities are provided outside. For example, children practise their climbing skills, and staff support them to ensure that they manage this safely. They use wheeled toys and carefully balance as they step between stepping stones.

Well if I could give this nursery more than 5 stars I would - we have used the Keppel Road site for almost 3 years now. Staff are caring and hardworking and are experts in their practice - they are led by a very knowledgeable and experienced management team. The centre is well resourced and my child is happy there.

This is in regards to the Campden Crescent nursery. The management needs to be trained as they have no customer service skills. Saying "we don't have a crystal ball to see the future" is really not professional. They have zero communication skills. I have spoken to them months before to add extra days for my daughter and they said yes, we can do that. One month before the term they said(when I asked) that it's not possible anymore. I've emailed them once because my daughter started crying and not wanting to go to their nursery anymore because a boy was hitting her. And they said:They'll be in separate rooms from next month so it's fine ". How was that a solution ? I have picked up my daughter multiple times with dried poo in her nappy. Once she had poo on her clothes too. These episodes lead to her having multiple infections. When my daughter's key worker was sent to their other branch, I was not informed that she left, nor that my daughter will have a new key worker. On a different day, my daughter had a bruise on her but cheek and when I went to the nursery and told them and asked what happened, they grabbed her, pulled her pants down and said that they don't see any bruises. Obviously, we left the nursery long ago. They have some good staff too, but overall it is very bad. I would not recommend the place to anyone.

Absolute joke , no communication. Glad didnt give them my child. They dare to blame parents for broken communication when mum the one that wrote an email asking about whats the plan...when on the phone sounds like they just woken up 0 energy, bad energy not doing their job! Don't recommend to anybody ever.
