Inclusion & environment
Staff and managers are quick to recognise when a child may need extra support. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive high levels of attention from staff.
Leaders and managers have ambitious plans to develop the nursery garden, to enrich outdoor learning for children of all ages.
Both of my children attended this nursery, and we had a wonderful experience. The staff treated them with kindness, patience, and professionalism, which was clearly reflected in their behavior and happiness every day. As a first-time mother, I received guidance and support in many things I didn’t know, and I truly appreciated how helpful and understanding the team was. The nursery is very clean, well-organized, and provides a warm and safe environment for the children. My kids were always happy with the meals, and they enjoyed the activities and the atmosphere. I am very grateful and highly recommend this kindergarten to any parent looking for a caring and supportive place for their child.
Read on GoogleThis nursery is outstanding. The staff are incredible and kind, always there to help and support your child and you with anything you need. My little boy changed so much, he struggled before with many things, but since he has gone to nursery his behaviour changed in a positive way. Friends and family noticed the change in him even just a few weeks after being there! And this is all down to Chestnut Nursery and their amazing staff and absolute patience and commitment to the children there. The girls who work there are absolutely lovely and genuine and kind. You feel so comfortable leaving your child there with them. It's time for my child to leave to go to school and I'm so upset at leaving such a wonderful nursery. Thank you all for everything. You helped not just my son but me too. X
Read on GoogleI am incredibly grateful for the kindness and support provided by our nursery manager. Read on GoogleCannot recommend this nursery enough. It was a difficult process finding the right nursery for my little boy as he was only 4 months old when starting nursery but I know I made the right choice sending him to Chestnut at St. Nicholas House. Now at nearly 8 months old I can see he thoroughly enjoys his time there and I honestly feel that I’m leaving him with friends and family as the staff there are so friendly and approachable and I feel confident that they are giving my little one the very best care. The regular updates via the app are very reassuring and I would strongly recommend this nursery to any parent or guardian looking for a clean and tidy nursery with an attentive team that clearly adore all the children that pass through their doors and understand the importance of their development and the transition between nursery and home.
Read on GoogleMy son settled immediately into Chestnuts after deciding to move him from another local nursery. The care and encouragement he gets from the staff is outstanding. He always come homes smiling and happy, with his belly full of freshly cooked lunches and tasty snacks. I would recommend this nursery to anyone in the local area who is looking for childcare.
