The nursery ensures that all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), have their individual needs met and are fully included in all daily activities and routines. Staff are actively engaged in children's play and learning, providing effective support for speech and language development.

Children have opportunities to develop physical skills through accessing swings and wheeled toys in the garden and park, and engaging in ring games and yoga. While the outdoor environment actively supports physical development, the nursery is working to broaden outdoor activities to include literacy and mathematics, to better support children who learn best outdoors.
