Inclusion & environment

The best team, nursery and staff! My daughter has been attending this nursery since February and she has learnt so much, gained a lot of confidence and is super independent. Each day she comes home saying a new word and the focus on each individual child is incredible. I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Suzie, Lorna & Jade for giving Ariella so much care on a daily basis. Ariella looks forward to nursery every day!! Would definitely recommend!
Read on GoogleA big thank you to Children 1st Birstall. The staff have been super supportive in helping our little one to settle into life at Children 1st Birstall after moving cities. He always has a big smile on his face at pick up time which is a testament to the good time and care that he receives during his time at nursery! A special mention to Miss Chloe, Miss Shri and Miss Ruby who he’s built strong bonds with and to Lucy the manager for always being on hand to answer any questions! We would highly recommend this nursery to other parents as our child is thriving and does so many incredible activities including cooking, building, being creative and lots of outdoor fun! We receive regular updates on key aspects such as meals, nappy changes and naps on the famly app and recieve so many pictures of our little one engaging in different activities! Thank you all for your support in helping our little one transition into nursery life and helping him grow! We look forward to watching him develop further as he continues his Children 1st Birstall journey!
Read on GoogleWould not recommend this nursery. Sent my daughter here last year after she turned one. She was at Children's 1st for just over a year and the experience I had was terrible. Many issues occured during my daughter's time. Some of these include, moving her to the next room and stopping her milk without telling us, key worker not knowing she was the key worker for my daughter, handovers were not great, not cleaning her properly and generally lot of staff leaving. Management changed about 3 or 4 times over the past year which doesn't leave you with much confidence. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my daughter there for the full day which meant I didn't trust the nursery to care for her for a long period of time.
Read on GoogleMy son has been here since the start of the year. He is so happy to attend and his development has come on so well, the staff are friendly and approachable, especially Miss Sorrell who has spent the time to really understand my child. We are so happy with the nursery we shall be sending our youngest there shortly.
Read on GoogleI am going to leave a review as this may finally prompt a response from the nursery, I can not comment on the care for children as we didn’t get past the initial conversions, the communication has been non existent - following emails and calls, the team are clearly not “bothered” we were treated terribly by the team here, three failed meetings, never called me to reschedule I had to call them, and on the final time I turned up and they didn’t know I was coming and manager wasn’t there, never had a call back to apologise or check in, This was months ago and still waiting for a call ! So so disappointed, I really hope you get this sorted as it’s such a shame.
