30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. It caters to children aged 0-4 years.

The nursery focuses on supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) by working closely with other professionals to identify and implement individual learning targets, including those designed to develop social skills. Their curriculum also actively promotes speaking skills through songs and rhymes, with staff supporting younger children in copying actions and older children in confidently singing.

The provision for children who speak English as an additional language (EAL) is strong, with staff using key words in children's home languages alongside English to introduce daily routines, and exposing all children to different languages and cultures from around the world. Outdoor learning is a key feature; the garden is equipped with additional resources to encourage physical development.

Children are encouraged to explore their surroundings with magnifying glasses, working together to find insects and learn about nature, including spiders. The nursery also fosters independence, with older children learning to serve their own food at mealtimes and pour their own drinks.

Strong relationships are built with parents through stay-and-play sessions and meetings, supporting children's learning both at nursery and at home. SEND provision

The management team and staff work closely with other professionals to support children with individual needs. They identify and implement targets to support children's learning, such as to help develop their social skills and interactions with others.

Outdoor space

Additional resources are purchased for the garden to encourage children to develop their physical skills outdoors. When children play in the garden, staff ask them to use magnifying glasses and work as a team to look for insects, encouraging them to explore and investigate their surroundings.

EAL / language support

Children learn about different languages and cultures from around the world. Staff use key words in children's home languages, as well as English, when introducing the routines of the day. This helps children who speak English as an additional language with their language skills and understanding.
