About this day nursery

Children's Montessori Nursery, established in 1995, offers a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can develop independence and responsibility. The nursery, originally based in St Marys Church Hall, has expanded over the years to a larger private building, enabling a wider range of services.

With multiple classrooms, the nursery tailors activities and lesson plans to suit each child's unique learning style, promoting a fun and engaging educational experience. The curriculum encompasses practical life skills, sensorial development, mathematics, and language, all designed to encourage self-confidence, exploration, and a love for learning.

The staff are all DBS checked and first aid trained, holding childcare qualifications and participating in additional courses to support children's development. The nursery also provides music and art sessions, and offers before and after-school clubs during term time, as well as a holiday club.
