About this day nursery

Childrens Learning Centre in Emsworth, established in 1991, provides an outstanding early years provision for children aged 0-6 years. Open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday for 51 weeks a year, this childcare on non-domestic premises offers a high-quality, calm, and stimulating learning environment where children thrive.

The nursery ensures that all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and those who speak English as an additional language, make excellent progress thanks to excellent systems for monitoring progress and targeted support. Children are inspired to engage in purposeful play, both indoors and outdoors, with a wide range of resources that encourage curiosity and creativity.

The curriculum is skilfully tailored to meet individual needs, with a strong focus on developing language and early mathematical skills through everyday activities. Staff are excellent role models, building strong bonds with the children and fostering a positive environment where children develop a strong sense of right and wrong and excellent behaviour.

The setting also prides itself on strong partnerships with parents, actively encouraging them to extend learning at home.
