Chill Out Time Childcare @ Hirst

About this day nursery

Chill Out Time Childcare @ Hirst in Ashington aims to foster confidence, self-esteem, and independent thinking in children. The day nursery provides a stimulating environment through child-centred play, which serves as a foundation for extending early learning experiences tailored to each child.

Their varied and challenging curriculum is designed to fill each day with creative and positive interactions. The setting is based on the THRIVE approach, prioritising the mental health and emotional development of babies, toddlers, and young children, ensuring they build strong foundations for life.

They create emotionally secure and nurturing spaces where young children feel supported. Practitioners are trained to understand and respond to individual social and emotional needs, helping children develop positive relationships, resilience, and essential stress management skills, thereby supporting their lifelong well-being.

The curriculum is continuously evolving, incorporating practitioner observations and children's interests, balancing child-led and adult-led play both indoors and outdoors to ensure individual progress throughout their educational journey. They offer various services including nursery, preschool, wraparound care, and out-of-school clubs.
