Christopher Robin Day Nursery, established in 1996 by Tor, is dedicated to offering exceptional care and educational experiences within a nurturing, secure, and affectionate setting. The nursery's methodology centres on fostering development across seven key areas, beginning with communication, physical growth, and personal-social-emotional skills, which then support literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and creative arts.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum is intricately woven into their approach, transforming learning into an engaging journey of discovery through play. This child-led strategy ensures that activities resonate with each child's intrinsic curiosity and individual learning preferences, both indoors and outdoors.
Every child is recognised as unique, and the nursery is committed to tailoring learning opportunities to meet specific needs, celebrating each milestone with appreciation and respect.

Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive timely intervention to help them catch up. This prepares children well, so they are ready for their next stage of learning.
Staff support children as they show fascination while watching a bee among the flowers in the garden. Staff identify this spontaneous learning opportunity to ask children questions about what they know. Children respond confidently to friends in the small group that bees collect nectar to make honey.
